Welcome to White Eagle Lodge, a private cabin in the exclusive Eagles Nest community of Banner Elk. This spacious home offers four bedrooms—including a unique bunk room—plus a dedicated family game room, inviting deck with Blue Ridge mountain views, and pet-friendly policies. Guests will enjoy both the privacy of a single-family retreat and access to premier resort-style amenities, from hiking trails to sports courts and seasonal concerts. Please note: some community features are seasonal or have access restrictions.

The unique upstairs bonus room—with four twin beds and a full-size bed—is perfect for children or younger family members to enjoy memorable sleepovers and late-night laughs. Outside, families can enjoy the playground, mini-golf course, and Great Lawn, or set off together on scenic woodland hiking trails—ensuring fun for everyone, from little ones to grandparents. Please note: Some outdoor facilities, like the ropes course and summer concerts, are available only seasonally (concerts May–November, ropes course in warmer months). Additionally, some amenities are reserved for community members only; refer to amenity guidelines for full details.

If you’re visiting in winter (Nov–March), AWD/4WD vehicles are required for safe mountain travel, so plan accordingly. Some amenities, including ropes courses and outdoor concerts, are seasonal—check the community schedule and amenity access to make the most of your stay.

Enjoy access to most Eagles Nest amenities: savor wine with a day pass at the on-site Eagles Nest winery (ages 16+ only, open select days, typically Thursday–Sunday), or attend live concerts in the amphitheater during summer and fall. Important Information
Check-in and Check-out Procedures
- Check-in is after 4pm and check-out is by 10am.
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
Property Access
- There is an additional room on the main level to which guests do not have access, and locked crawlspace upstairs. It is not shown in the 3D tour or photos.
- Guests do not have access to the locked off portion of the Sportsman's Lodge, the Fitness Center, or the Wine & Cigar Bar. That is for member use only.
- The garage is not available for guest use, but the driveway provides parking for the home.
Policies and Rules
- No smoking allowed.
- Minimum age: 25 years. The person reserving must be at least 25 and must be present during the stay.
- Children allowed.
- No events allowed.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- Guests are responsible for supplying their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment etc.)
- Guests are not allowed to bring their own ATVs. For information about ATV rentals please visit: Off Road Adventures website.
- Eagles Nest is an up and coming community, with construction currently going on in several of its neighborhoods. Construction noises may be heard 7am-7pm Monday through Saturday.
Fees and Payments
- This home allows dogs. The information specifies up to 2 mature, well-trained dogs under 40 lbs each with an additional pet rent of $25 per pet per night plus tax. Pets other than dogs are not permitted. (Note: Maximum pets in source data is set to 99. Please confirm actual maximum if this is an error.)
- Firewood for the fire pit may be added at the time of booking under "Additional Fees" after entering payment info or by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You get two wrapped bundles and a firestarter for $25/night.
- All stays at Eagles Nest homes have an additional amenity fee in order to maintain the luxurious facilities and features in the development.
- Eagles Nest Winery day passes are available onsite for $25.00 each.
- The summer concerts are open to all guests however there may be an admission fee for each person and cash bar for food and drinks.
Parking Information
- The garage is not available for guest use, but the driveway provides parking for the home.
Utilities and Amenities Access
- All Eagles Nest homes have internet, but some areas of travel may not have cell reception.
- All BRMR homes offer well-stocked kitchens with utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two.
- Towels and linens will be provided.
- Hair dryers are not provided.
Safety and Emergency Information
- The home has security cameras to monitor the driveway and exterior for safety.
- Smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector are provided.
Area and Weather Considerations
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
- The main roads are plowed in winter, but 4WD or AWD vehicles are required November-March, and chains may also be necessary to access all properties in winter months.
Amenity Access (Community)
- While enjoying your stay at White Eagle Lodge, you have access to most amenities inside of Eagles Nest. Amenities available to you include:
- Great Camp: BBQ Pavilion, Amphitheater (location of summer concerts from May to the end of November), The Great Lawn, Playground, Hiking Trails, Ropes Course and Climbing Tower (seasonal), Mini-Golf Course, 24/7 General Store
- North Pavilion: Ball Field, Sportsman's Lodge (unlocked portion only), Sports Court (Basketball and Pickleball), Dog Park, Walking Trail, Sportsman's Grille (Wed-Sun. Hours vary), Fire Pit, Woodland Trail System (ATV Trails, Hiking, Biking)
- Camp (BYO Equipment): Tennis Courts, Pickleball, Disc Golf, Archery (Restrooms and Pavilion coming soon!)
- Vineyard: Food and Wine served. Eagles Nest Winery day passes are available onsite for $25.00 each. HOURS: Thur & Fri 4p-10p. Sat & Sun 1p-7p. Please note all visitors on premise at winery must be 16 years or older. This is strictly enforced.

Cancellation Policy
- Bookings canceled within 24 hours of their creation will receive a full refund of payments.
- Bookings canceled more than 24 hours after their creation are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest.
- All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
